Michael J Russo, MS

Hello, I’m Michael. I’m a music teacher, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist who enjoys playing guitar, piano, violin, percussion, bass, banjo, ukulele, and a variety of electronic instruments. I also create visual art using paint and clay.

 

I hold two college degrees related to music. I have worked with thousands of people individually helping them to engage more deeply with music, and I have professional experience working in various clinical settings that include pediatric ICU, hospice care, and drug and alcohol detox and rehabilitation.

 

I created Russo Healing Arts to provide music lessons and to exhibit my art. I'm committed to holding a welcoming and supportive space where students can learn, explore, and express themselves freely. I strive to help students to discover the freedom that comes with playing a musical instrument fluently, and the deep meaning and enjoyment that comes from creative self-expression. I’m grateful every day for the chance to do this work, and I’d be honored to support you in your musical and artistic journey!
