Music Enrichment and

Sound Healing

Music Enrichment

Music has a unique way of connecting us to ourselves and to the world around us. Through rhythm, melody, and creative expression, we can process emotions, strengthen focus, and experience a deeper sense of presence and wellbeing. Music Enrichment is an individualized, growth-oriented process that uses music intentionally for personal development. Although grounded in principles of music therapy, these sessions are not clinical therapy. Their aim is to help people explore creativity, reduce stress, and reconnect with their natural capacity for joy and expression.

Depending on your goals, sessions may include:

  • Listening and reflection – using guided listening to evoke imagery, insight, and relaxation.

  • Music making and improvisation – expressing yourself through voice, instruments, or movement, regardless of musical background.

  • Songwriting and composition – transforming your experiences, emotions, or stories into meaningful songs.

  • Skill building – learning dances, musical games, and how to play musical instruments.

Engaging with music in these ways can:

  • Reduce stress
  • Support emotional regulation
  • Enhance concentration and memory
  • Build self-awareness and confidence
  • Develop motor skills

  • Foster communication and connection

Music Enrichment sessions are collaborative, and individualized to your unique needs. Each session provides space to engage with music in ways that encourage personal growth, emotional expression, and self-awareness.

Sound Healing

Sound Healing uses music and sound to encourage deep relaxation, focused attention, and greater emotional self-awareness. Drawing from the principles of music-assisted hypnosis, sessions combine sound, guided imagery, and suggestion to support self-exploration and encourage positive change. Through carefully chosen tones, textures, and rhythms, sound healing helps to induce states of focus and calm that help people to commune with their subconscious minds, and to access resources for positive change.

Potential benefits may include:

  • Deep relaxation and stress reduction
  • Relief from mental fatigue and emotional tension
  • Improved sleep quality and sense of calm
  • Heightened creativity and insight
  • Support for mindfulness and spiritual practice
  • Sessions incorporate elements of guided visualization, music improvisation, and focused listening to create an atmosphere that encourages healing and balance.
